The Missing Season
04:04
|
|||
Inside your mind, you walk inside Nature
Tall grass, low light, wading past and future.
Can you pitch there your flag to claim it all your kingdom
or are you just another stone in the timeless river ?
Inside your mind you stand upright and wonder
how far is the line ending all the questions.
Can you walk to this line, walk across your kingdom?
Look at the sign of the missing season.
I don’t know if the sky will send the rain or the glow of the sun upon the sand.
Pictures of my life flash across the glowing sand.
Colors made of sound in the sky above my head.
Silence made of thoughts in the sky inside my head.

To The Fire
04:38
|
|||
I walk all night to the fire,
Strange ideas in the black.
Sitting on the edge you see the clouds and hear the thunder in the sky
When you go to bed you sleep inside the memory of the one you love,
as you close your eyes see her walk on by

Morning Moon
04:18
|
|||
When you’re ready I am ripe pluck me down from your sky
A good harvest for a calm chest, a blank page, a realm to ride.
I’m called the morning moon, through all those nights we toiled,
Here we are, morning moon, one last look then I’ll go.
Through the mysteries in the woods, through what they call misleading roads
All this chasing, this dreaming, all those days…
I’m called the morning moon, through all those nights we toiled,
Here we are, morning moon, one last look then I’ll go.
Ripe, fulfilled
So in your chest stirs my breath, on the rooftops when you jump.
Don’t ask me for a wish, just go to what you have.
I’m called the morning moon, what I say you know it by heart.

Old Mine
04:45
|
|||
I sing along to the sound of awful moments brought down.
They were many on your back; they made you stumble on the track.
With a wave of your hand send them all away
Take the pace of the sun, race them all away
You’ll find out your style on your own.
You’ll find out your style as you walk the next mile alone
Let your legs go by on their own.
Let your legs go by, wear a grin and a smile at one.
As I go back to the days when I was oh just a haze
People breathed me in and out, cloud my beliefs with their doubt.
With a wave of your hand send them all away
Take the pace of the sun, race them all away
You’ll find out your style on your own.
You’ll find out your style as you walk the next mile alone
Let your legs go by on their own.
Let your legs go by, wear a grin and a smile at one.
Bring to the light all the trouble that you’ve had
Going back to this old mine you left behind
Going back to this old mine you left behind,
there’s some ivy twisted around the key.
Coming inside, hearing a thousand chimes
See the gold that’s been waiting here for thee.

Stone On My Back
02:46
|
|||
Standing in the middle of my world,
feet fastened tight against the swirl,
I hear you crying out for more
my belly is empty, eyes are sore.
So you think my heart is made of stone but that’s not true,
I’m loving you, my life is spent looking towards you,
so when you doubt, when you fight, it’s another stone on my back
Maybe I don’t show it quite enough,
maybe you can’t see it through my past
But I lay my kingdom at your feet
speaking on behalf of my tired feet.
Still you think my heart is made of stone but that’s not true,
I’m loving you, my life is spent looking towards you,
so when you doubt, when you fight, it’s another stone on my back

Isolated
04:19
|
|||
I’ve been wasting my time closing eyes on you
or trying to define what’s the meaning of our love.
I’ve been spending my years waiting for a moment
and the moment was here in the palm of your sweet hand.
Isolated in the corner of our heads
Tried to talk but words were somewhere else
Isolated in the corner of our bed
Words come out and form our own language.
So now I’m on your side and everything looks brighter
Walking on solid fire, gliding towards our future
And my confidence in you is my confidence in me
and we wrestle steady, struggling against those who’d give a thousand wounds for free.
Isolated in the corner of our heads
Tried to talk but words were somewhere else
Isolated in the corner of our bed
Words come out and form our own language
You better let somebody love you before it’s too late,
as the song says.
Now our love will heal my sorrow and our words will allay my fears,
don’t let me down if one tomorrow I fuck my brain up again for real

4 miles up above your house I can see you sleeping tight
All across the barren land you can sense me in the night
You pray for a silent sleep and I pray for loud
I am the ghost you left behind
I wish that someday you’ll lay flowers on your grave
I am the ghost you left behind

Black Bride
03:46
|
|||
Can’t you see it’s just a waste of time trying to figure out who I am
Can’t you tell I’m about to lose control
I can see you’re bound to steal my soul
you stay around, bring me down, seeking million ways to break my ground
but I can see you crawling from a thousand miles
looking down on you I bring a smile
You’re my black bride, you’re just a lie
From the moment that you heard my name, you’ve been trying to suck on my brain
Let it go because my feet are sore, I’ve been walking on this road before.
Maybe you do love me true, so why can I call evil anything you do ?
Cause I can see you crawling from a thousand miles
looking down on you I bring a smile.
You’re my black bride, you’re just a lie
I’m steppin’ up onto the scene, gonna bust your witchcraft double deal
Now that your act is crumbling where are the pretty little words and the pretty little schemes
I see the venom pulling back, I see your dress is turning black
Let go of this wedding dream, I’m walking away from you !

Cascade Saddle
03:36
|
|||
To go to my castle, leave at dusk find the river go upstream.
Once you’re in the shadow of its walls time to blindfold your sore eyes.
as you climb on up to the lookout to your past, feel how vast the nothing is on this side of the cliff,
feel it in your fragile bones.
as you cling to the surface there, see your lovers, friends and dear ones down, radiating in the sun.
You keep yourself from looking down, as the flares come up and lick your feet,
you forget who you came up here to meet.
I’ll meet you there, under the moon, basking in its glow, I’ll forget I used to know.
Hidden up there above the sunlight, I will rest up there,
rest up there while years go by.
Entering the courtyard made of streams, of great lawns and ancient ice.
See the man who lives here, he’s got no age, he’s got the sky in his eyes.
As you come up close to salute him with both hands,
your life rushes in your bones and just faints in his eyes.
Now you realize he’s yourself.
Now you finally found your peace, see your lovers, friends and dear one down radiating in the sun.
You just can’t keep from looking down, as the stairs go down and warm your feet,
you forget who you came up here to meet.
I left you there, under the moon, basking in its glow, where I forgot I used to know.
Hidden up there above the sunlight, come on rest up there,
rest up there while years go by

Song For You
03:41
|
|||
You left today at the station and we thought we’d be ok
Now I’m browsing through my record collection but none of them can take the pain away.
It’s crazy how human I feel now the truth of love hit me hard.
Weak, strong, dreamy and real, walking on water and fire
There wasn’t one song in the world that matched the love I have for you
They all sound distant and absurd, so I wrote this song for you

Homeless Lovers
02:46
|
|||
Below the dark sky, in the cold dragging night
Shiver the arms of the arms of the embracing ones
We could go home if we had one
Ain’t it funny to be born so far from home
And I don’t know how the hell did we get to such a place
When just a couple miles behind we thought it couldn't get worse
In this vast space elected as the place where we two, we trust and promise
I’ll lift you up when you’re ready to walk
When streaks of light hit the sick night
There is poison in the sky
There are crows going for my brain !
Close your eyes and you’ll be fine
I’ll guide you with a song…

The Last Gift Of Corelia
06:05
|
|||
Rushing down out of the darkness you lay your bright hand on my chest to calm my heartbeat.
And as I look upon your neck, source of the streams that you direct around my tense brain.
When I walk through dreary forests, I would like to trust in my footsteps.
Tortuous tree near the track, against your trunk can I rest my back?
It understands I need a rest like its roots plunging in the earth.
it understands I have to go like it’s top aspires to do.
Cause it’s impossible to stay here, as tempting as I know it is
My fate is locked, my mind is set, I left you smiling in your sleep.
So I took a fruit and went my way.
Snakes of water follow my day.
And In the morning you see me gone again
It is my burden I must keep on travelling
For me no fireplace, no home
and this torch you lit I’ll bear it all alone
My wooden heart your love kindled, your leafy neck a scarf in the cold

Looking at your neck from the side, pondering on this grace you pretend to hide
Turning around you and there you stand, smiling away all that I understand.
Oh we you could dance on bridges, on roads, on ships wherever
with the world as our oyster, at dawn. Of course at dawn.
So maybe you’re right I don’t know who you are
but maybe I know what we will be: some fucking dreamers wherever
in your head or in mine, where our fantasy goes
Oh we you could dance on bridges, on roads, on ships wherever
with the world as our oyster, at dawn. Of course at dawn.
So I’ll keep doing what I ‘ve been doing for X years now,
I’ll go here and there and wait for you.
Spending my time singing songs about dawn,
but maybe it’s time that dawn sings a song for us
